Emerge Middle School Ministry is founded on the principles of 2 Cor 6:17 where the Bible instructs us to come out from among the world and be separate. Living in the world today is trying for everyone, especially young teenagers. Our prayer is that all middle school students at Faith Baptist will receive a great understanding of being in the world but not being of the world. By applying doctrinal preaching, relationship building, developing servant's hearts, and by God's grace, we hope these students will EMERGE into what God wants them to be for Him.
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." 2 Corinthians 6:17
About Emerge Middle School Ministry
Emerge Middle School Ministry was developed in July 2016 after it was decided by leadership at Faith Baptist Church that middle school students needed a stand-alone ministry to support their spiritual growth and development. Statistics show that the majority of people who make a decision to accept Jesus Christ do so between the ages of 10 and 14 which only makes the importance of this ministry more apparent. The ministry currently has students involved from all Troup County middle schools, Heard County middle schools, local private schools, and home school associations. Emerge meets on Wednesday nights in “The Rock” for fellowship at 6:15 and service is from 7:00-8:15. Emerge also meets on most Sunday mornings during our regular service.
