Awana is an acronym for

"Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed".

The Bible verse from which Awana originated is

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) which states : Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Awana Clubs At Faith

Faith Awana clubs meet each Wednesday evening from 6:45 pm until 8:05 pm.

Our youngest clubbers, Puggles and Cubbies, meet in our "Tree House Children's Ministry" classrooms.  This area is located in the secured area of the top floor of our "B" building.  These clubs are focused on providing an opportunity for these children to begin learning about Jesus and His love for them.

Our older children, Sparks and Truth In Training (T&T), meet in our secured gymnasium.  These clubs are divided into smaller groups, by age, and have a curriculum designed to provide a solid foundation for their continued growth in Christ.

Each Awana club has a portion of time alloted for games, snacks (Puggles and Cubbies), Bible lessons and handbook study.  Hearing, understanding and memorizing Bible verses and handbook sections is encouraged in all clubs.  Clubbers earn awards for Bible memorization, sections/books completed and other activities.

Our Awana Clubs are adapted to fit our Children's Ministry schedule and curriculum.  We are currently using the King James Version of the Bible in our Awana curriculum.
